Jana is a gerontologist and dedicated advocate for elderhood. When considering best practices from around the globe Jana keeps the values and wellbeing of older adults at the forefront of our projects. Before joining Silvermark she worked with the Alzheimer Society and within eldercare residences. She remains informed of leading approaches in dementia care, therapeutic and sensory programming, narrative care, and intergenerational programming.
Jana has a network that spans the sector from front-line to thought leadership. Her most treasured experiences are the moments she spends interacting with, and learning from, older adults. Jana reminds us that elderhood is an important stage of growth and development in one’s life and inspires healthy living through her love of recipe swapping, fitness, and family.
